CR England Premier Trucking School Overpromise and underdeliver. Horrible school, horrible teachers, horrible hotel. Fontana CA

Premier is the trucking school for CR England.  Horrible.  Stay away from it as much as you can.  I went to the school with my permit in hand already.  That eliminated the classroom portion (only needed if you don't have a permit yet).  I needed the skills and road training.  

I was promised excellent training and great teachers.  I was super excited to start.  I've been through law school.  I know about pressure.  I got very disappointed soon.  What I found: Way too many students.  Lazy trainers.  Hardly any trainers on the yard to assist students.  No time to practice skills.  Standing around for an hour to hop on a truck.  Rude instructors.  Disrespectful and borderline discriminatory.  Think about this:

Monday: Paperwork in the morning.  I understand.  No worries here.  Only 2 attempts per student to do straight backing in the afternoon.  Assigned instructor not present.

Tuesday: Got to use the truck only 1 time in the morning and 1 time in the afternoon to try offsetting.  One yard teacher was present for the offsetting, but he was overwhelmed from watching too many students at the same time.  He didn't explain anything.  He yanked at us when we didn't do the maneuvers correctly.  Rude attitude.  Example: "Why do you do this, dummy!"

Wednesday: Got to use the truck 1 time in the morning to try parallel parking.  Started the road program in the afternoon with our assigned instructor.  He yelled at us and called us stupid when we didn't do something correctly.  Example: "Floor it!  You hear me?  Talking to you.  Scott, are you listening?  Listen when I talk!"

Thursday: Didn't get to practice on a truck at all.  How are we supposed to learn 3 skills with no instruction, no practice, and with the test coming up next week?  Road portion in the afternoon.  More yelling and condescending attitude.  Example: "I know English isn't your first language, but don't be stupid.  Throttle -- gas pedal!  Fine."  "What do you mean by warning sign -- OK sign, High 5, the L sign?  It's WARNING LIGHT.  It's WARNING LIGHT.  (Sigh).  STOP IT!"

Friday: Didn't get to practice again.  In 4 days, did offsetting twice, parallel parking twice, and no ally docking at all.  I finally quit after lunch because it's ridiculous.

This school doesn't teach.  The ONLY time we had more than 1 yard teacher for a skills practice was when police showed up.  Suddenly, all teachers pretended to be busy for half an hour.  This school looks down upon you, acts disrespectfully, and makes you feel dumb.  And the hotel?  They put everyone at the Roadside Inn.  Roach coach, bedbugs, weed smell, trash.
