I purchased a Vital Band and thought the membership was free according to their ambiguous marketing. I ended up with 8 charges of $39.95 before I caught this. My credit card statement listed them as: Change That Up, VB Health or CTU Lifestyle. If this isn & a scam, then why change the names? I am livid. I emailed support@ctulifestyle.com requesting a full refund. I received a response saying that they could only reimburse 4 of these charges. My credit card statement only has 3 posted.
I am a senior citizen, on a fixed income and am usually very careful about fraud but I got duped by this one.($319.60 in charges, $119.85 in refunds). If this has happened to me, I suspect this is happening to many others. Buyer Beware and shame on them!

They charged YOUR credit card, right? Who's credit card? YOUR CREDIT CARD. That credit account is YOUR responsibility to pay, correct? Who's responsibility? YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! YOU are the person ON THE HOOK for this account and you don't even have the FINANCIAL COMMON SENSE to check that account at least every month to see what is being charged there! Why do you think they do this and get away with it? Its because as this sorry society continues DUMBING DOWN, they know there are people without a thimble full of COMMON SENSE who would CHECK THEIR STATEMENT! Shame on them??? NO. SHAME ON YOU! YOU could have and should have caught this with the FIRST CHARGE! NO RIP OFF HERE! JUST LACK OF FINANCIAL COMMON SENSE IN ACTION!

Update: After submitting a complaint with Ripoff Reports, I received additional emails confirming that CTU Lifestyle has reimbursed me fully for the monthly membership fees. I appreciate the gesture, that is a credit to them. However, I question why a full refund was not credited with my initial contact.
