As a new customer, I made the mistake of asking them to make a simple alteration—taking in the sleeves on two dress shirts by two inches. What followed was an absolute disaster: 1. The gentleman at the front took proper measurements and pinned the shirts, assuring me they’d be ready in a couple of days. I returned two weeks later. 2. When I arrived, he admitted the shirts weren’t ready because he had let the pins fall out during cleaning. He had to remeasure me, but this time he seemed confused, marking the fabric with a pencil instead of pinning it properly. I was able to pick up my dry cleaning, but he forgot my pants, requiring me to call and return again. Another two weeks passed. 3. I stopped by on a Saturday—another two weeks later—only to be told the shirts still weren’t ready because "the lady has them.” He asked for yet another two weeks. 4. When I finally picked up the shirts, I tried them on in front of him. They had been shortened so much they were now T-shirts. Furious, I asked for a refund, requesting only $50 as a compromise. He said he couldn’t issue the refund and that I’d have to wait for his wife to call me. She promised to have a check ready for me the next time I came in—another two weeks gone. 5. When I showed up today to pick up the check (because apparently they "can’t give cash”), the guy at the front, unsurprisingly, did not have it ready. He had to call his wife while I waited. At this point, he was clearly slow-playing the situation. As my patience wore thin, he asked me to write down my address so they could mail it. Then, he had the audacity to comment on my "attitude.” That was it—I told him to keep his $50 and that I would be leaving a review reflecting my experience. It took them nearly two months to turn dress shirts into T-shirts, never once apologizing or taking responsibility. And after all that, they were too cheap and full of excuses to issue a measly $50 refund.
