Daniel Victor Edery Sold me a defective SeaDoo and stole my deposit on a second SeaDoo/trailer Etobicoke, Toronto, Hamilton Ontario

"Vic" advertised a seadoo for sale on Kijiji (July 2020) and claimed it was “Professionally rebuilt”.  He brought the ski to me and told me he was a Bombardier certified mechanic and promised me the machine was in excellent working condition.  

He also offered to provide prompt service if I ever had any issues with it.  I expressed interest in a second machine and double trailer. I made  full payment on the first machine and put a deposit ($2500) on the second machine and a double trailer.  

He has never delivered the second SeaDoo or trailer.  In addition, I have had numerous issues with the first machine.  

I have filed a police report in Hamilton and will be taking him to small claims court.  If the police refuse to press charges, I will be pressing Fraud charges through a Justice of The Peace.  I likely won't get my money back, but we have to try to stop this guy and make things more complicated...Feel free to email me at pclemens0@gmail.com.  

My Incident Report with the Hamilton Police is #20686475. I will be sharing on various Facebook SeaDoo Groups and Seadooforum.com.  I encourage others to do the same.  I am considering options to notify/pressure legitimate businesses who do business with this guy to blackball him.
