Our experience with Max Properties, especially with Alejandro Patiño Acevedo and AP&FH Desarrollos, S.A.P.I. de C.V., has been a complete disaster. What started as an exciting prospect to purchase an apartment in the Paam Cheel project in Tulum turned into a financial and emotional nightmare. After paying an impressive sum of $80,000, the owners disappeared without a trace, leaving us without the apartment we had paid for.

Desperation and a sense of betrayal led us to take legal action. Despite signing two agreements with our lawyers, in which they promised to return our money, they never fulfilled their promise. Each time we seemed close to a solution, it vanished, increasing our frustration and helplessness.

We have attached documentary evidence proving this blatant scam. We have initiated a lawsuit hoping to recover our money, though the emotional damage and generated distrust are irreparable.

Do not trust these scammers! Max Properties, Alejandro Patiño Acevedo, and AP&FH Desarrollos, S.A.P.I. de C.V., have proven to be completely unreliable and dishonest. Our sincere advice is to avoid any dealings with them to avoid falling into the same trap we did.

Additionally, we have discovered worrying indications that this scam might also be occurring in the Dominican Republic.
