This is my review & experience with this pool company for anyone looking to use them for their projects. First off, 11 months and pool still not completed. Extremely disappointing watching them move on to other customer pools that contracted long after we did & complete them while continuing to make excuses for not working on our pool. Literally just sent them drop a pool off at a customers home and not even a month later they have already poured their concrete and pool is exact same size as ours..

I have had to contact legal council twice regarding there lack of resolve till finally we have been forced to take legal action against them to protect our interest. For a company that states they pride themselves on paying attention to detail, Numberous mistakes were made that would of completely altered our design had i not questioned & caught them before it went to far. So were these done on purpose? From not installing the deck jets to forming coping for concrete pour that was supposed to get hardstone. Now the delays are being blamed on sub contractor for hardstone.

We were told this hardstone was ordered months ago.They are deliberately delaying & trying to sabotage our pool build for questioning why it was taking so long to complete. If Tracy likes you or you a family member or friend then your pool will take priority over all others regardless when contracted.. Some have only waited a couple months if that,, while others are put on back burner. They even contact pool manufacturer and push customers pools back to prioritize there friends pools first. Honesty & Communication is much to be desired with this company.

When we first ordered our pool 3rd week of July was told would be 9 weeks waiting for manufacturing & only a couple weeks to finish. This put our pool delivery for 1st week Oct. After numerous delays they finally said our pool would be installed 1st week November, then date moved, & moved, & moved to 1st week December, then week before Christmas, then we was told our pool had not come in. 5 months went by and they never thought to mention our pool wasn't here. Davenport called the manufacturer of pool & placed other customer pools ahead of ours.

The company had already sent all registration paperwork for our pool in Oct. We believe the pool was simply given to another customer when it arrived.. After another week of delays was told pool would be in Dec 29th. Then it became delays with permits office (which took us all of 10 mins to resolve issue) which delay was caused by Davenport not turning in proper documentation. Again we were skipped over as they stated was easier for them to build outside of Louisville cause they can get permits faster. Finally after 2 more months the pool dig started end of February. Its now 1st week of June 11 months from initial contract signing & pool still isn't complete. Mean while Davenport continued to install other new customer pools i didn't find it very amusing watching them march on collecting more & more new orders while letting customers that already paid sit.

Unless someone has been waiting the same 11 months we've waited no additional pools should be started till the backlog of customers that have been waiting is cleared. watching customers get pools installed & completed that ordered months after we did is unsatisfactory. Doesn't matter how your work turns out if it takes a year to build something that should take 14-30 days. So if you looking for a contractor that will lie to you over & over again, be skipped over to accommodate there friends, all of which will lead to more delays for your project this is the company for you. Absolutely no Integrity or trust. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Simply stating the facts.

Get in writing a true start & completion date. When your pool is due to arrive get its location and go see it for yourself. They are simply taking advantage of people with dishonest advertising. Taking new customers money & moving on to next customer relying on having a year to complete the pool. Absolutely worst company I've ever dealt with. I really don't want to believe we are being treated differently because we are a minority family but it sure feels that way.

I have been in contact with Davenport Pools & was assured my project will be completed. Once my pool has completed i will post update.
