Fraud Report: Dazzling Cleaning / Homeaglow

Business Name: Dazzling Cleaning / Homeaglow

Category: A business charged me without my permission

Description of the Fraud:

In September 2023, I signed up for a cleaning service with Dazzling Cleaning. The first and only cleaning occurred on September 6, 2023, and I was extremely dissatisfied. That same day, I contacted their customer service via their website and requested full cancellation of all services and any membership. Their representative tried to persuade me to try other cleaners and offered credits and free appointments, but I clearly and repeatedly refused all offers. I stated that I did not want any ongoing service and believed everything had been canceled.

However, they refused to cancel the membership, even though they canceled the upcoming appointments. I did not authorize any “forever” membership. Once I saw charges continuing on September 06 2023, I immediately reported the company to Chase Bank for fraud and had both of my credit cards replaced.

In total, they charged:

• $20.56

• $4.05

• $27.07

(Transaction went through across two cards in September 2023. No transactions since replacement of both credit cards)

Then, on May 8, 2025, a related company called Homeaglow (which appears to be the same business under a new name) attempted four charges of $39.78 each. Three were declined, and one was disputed. Shockingly, on May 9, 2025, they processed 17 additional unauthorized charges of $39.78, totaling $676.26 — even though the account had previously been flagged for fraud. This brings the total unauthorized charges to $755.82.

I had no active account or permission granted, and they used my new, replaced credit card information without authorization. I view this as deliberate fraud and exploitation of customer data.

Requested Actions:

• Investigate Dazzling Cleaning / Homeaglow for predatory billing practices

• Stop this company from charging customers after cancellation

• Prevent the use of different brand names to avoid detection

• Support full refund and recovery of funds taken without permission

This company has been reported by many others online — both customers and cleaners — for similar predatory and deceptive practices. These include:

• Refusing to cancel memberships

• Continuing to charge after cancellation

• Charging through new or replaced credit cards

• Deceiving customers by using different company names

Requested Actions:

1. Immediate investigation of Dazzling Cleaning / Homeaglow for fraudulent billing and consumer abuse

2. Permanent termination of their business license due to widespread reports of misconduct

3. Full refund and recovery of all unauthorized charges made to my account

4. Stronger protections for consumers and workers exploited by such companies

Please take urgent action. This is a clear case of intentional fraud, and they should not be allowed to continue scamming customers or workers.
