Deer Point Meadows Investments is a large Corporate which engages in the growing monopolistic practice of purchasing mid-to-large RV parks, and owns a number of RV Parks including Driftwood RV Resort, Boardman. We made a reservation here but two hours later due to a change in itinerary, called back to cancel. The park refused to refund, saying that their policy is seven days notice for a cancellation... but we were only informed of such policy *after* this evidently crooked Corporate charged our card!!

Likewise the response from "the owner" - assumed to be someone at Corporate - that the park would accomodate our cancellation is either blowing smoke, or outright lying (ten days later we still have not received our promised refund). Effectively Driftwood RV Resort Boardman via Deer Point Meadows operates a "no refund" policy in any case such as ours. Driftwood RV Resort via Deer Point Meadows Investments is therefore operating under false pretenses and fraudulent terms with regard to its credit card "refund policy" a matter we intend to vigorously pursue.

Such misrepresentation of 'policy' is damaging and typical of large Corporates. Why should anyone reserve anywhere when Driftwood RV Resort Boardman aka Deer Point Meadoes Investments refuses to refund in a case such as ours above? Recommend avoiding any such Big Corporate-run park, and  note that"Sandy" was rude and abusive to us on the phone. It's a shame that these large apparwntly shady corporate entities are buying up these parks, and employing bad faith monopolistic business practices to boot.
