To all the Folks Out there in Rip Off Report Land, I can only say, that MOST STATE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES ARE A BIG RIP OFF IN THEMSELVES.

The Unforgivable Sick Joke, they play on the American People is to PRETEND THEY ARE ON THS SIDE OF THE CITIZEN BY INVITING US TO MAIL IN A COMPLAINT, AND THEN JUST DISMISS LEGITIMATE COMPLAINTS OUT OF HAND WITH AN INSULTING - FILL IN THE BLANKS FORM LETTER.

This Form Letter, failed to mention anything about the nature of the complaint nor its content.  No Comments, No References to the Complaint,  NOTHING MORE THAN FAILING - BIG TIME - TO ASSIST THE CITIZEN, WHO TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE UP A DETAILED AND HEART FELT COMPLAINT.

IN THIS CASE, IT IS THE STATE OF WISCONSIN, DEPT OF HEALTH SERVICES.

In my own experiences, the only 3 States in the USA, where a citizen can expect any type of help and some form of justice is California, Oregon and Washington State.

The further east you go, the State Government Agencies are on the SIDE of the HOSPITALS, DOCTORS, BUSINESSES, AND AGENCIES ONE IS COMPLAINING ABOUT.  

With the State of Wisconsin, Dept of Health Services, they ARE ON THE SIDE OF THE HOSPITALS, DOCTORS AND ALLEDGED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND NOT ON THE SIDE OF THE PEOPLE.

THEY ARE ALSO 'IN BED' WITH MEDICARE - AND THAT IS WHY THEY OFTEN DISMISS COMPLAINTS FOR NO GOOD REASON, IN A VERY SHORT TIME - CITING THAT YOUR COMPLAINT FAILS TO 'RISE TO THE LEVEL OF MEDICARE LAW".

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MYSELF - A 75 YEAR OLD WOMAN.

I first called this State of Wisconsin, Dept of Health Services back in May, 2025 and spoke to a Compliance Specialist named Brianna.  She told me to file a written complaint against the Hospital and Clinic I was having severe problems with.  However, she told me that there is NO Complaint Form I could download to mail in the written complaint.

Her words to me were:  WE DO NOT HAVE A COMPLAINT FORM TO MAIL YOU.  JUST WRITE IT UP AGAINST THE HOSPITAL.  WE WILL LOOK AT IT AND PROBABLY DISMISS IT IF WE FEEL IT DOES NOT FALL WITHIN OUR GUIDELINES.

NOW THIS IS A RED FLAG IF I EVER SAW ONE.  I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO WASTE MY TIME WITH THIS ORGANIZATION.

She did say that WE TAKE ALL COMPLAINTS SERIOUSLY.  Well, that is a CROCK OF BULL, I ever saw one.

I took the time to write up an 11 page report with a cover letter, and included some documentation.  I made it clear that I would be happy to answer any questions the Dept of Health Services has.  I also said if they wanted additional documention, to let me know so I can provide it.

I mailed it in the US post office June 6, 2025.  I called on June 12, and Brianna verified it was received on June 11, 2025.  

In just 5 short days, June 16, 2025, the Dept of Health Services has the nerve to send me A FILL IN THE BLANKS FORM LETTER, with no details of my complaint.  NOTHING AT ALL, EXCEPT TO INSULT ME WITH SUCH AN INSULTING LETTER.

This letter was COMPUTER signed by a Section Manager named Sara S.

WELL IS GUESS THE 12 PAGES WAS JUST TOO MUCH FOR THEM TO READ AND WAY TOO MUCH FOR THEM TO UNDERSTAND AND ASK QUESTIONS.

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY DO ALL DAY, BUT THEY MUST HAVE A STACK OF THESE FORM LETTERS, AND ALL THEY DO IS FILL IN THE NAME OF THE PERSON WHO FILED THE COMPLAINT, AND FILL IN THE FEW SIMPLE BLANKS.

Today, is July 14, 2025:

I tried 3 times since to call this Sara S.  NO RETURN CALL.  I GUESS SHE FEELS THAT I AM BENEATH HER AND DO NOT DESERVE HER TIME ON A RETURN CALL.   VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, I SAY.

I also did call several times, and did finally reach Brianna, but she just kept talking over me.  Not letting me finish a sentence and just told me to file - yet another complaint - with The Joint Commission.

FRUSTRATION, FRUSTRATION AND MORE FRUSTRATION IS ALL A CITIZEN IS GOING TO GET FROM THE STATE OF WISCONSIN, DEPT OF HEALTH SERVICES.

THE SAD FACT HERE, FOLKS, IS THAT THE DEPT OF HEALTH SERVICES SIMPLY - DOES NOT CARE ABOUT A COMPLAINT.  NO MATTER HOW FACTUAL, DETAILED AND WELL WRITTEN IT IS.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST RIP OFF OF ALL.

These State Agencies are given the power to help people, but they fail in a large number of cases.  Medicare is supposed to also help people, but - my own experiences clearly show - Medicare HOLDS HANDS WITH THE HOSPITALS, DOCTORS AND MEDICAL PERSONNEL.

This is why Hospitals and Medical Professionals often fail to resolve complaints.  WHY SHOULD THEY RESOLVE A COMPLAINT.  AFTER ALL, THEY HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR.

Also, many states, have enacted STATE LAWS MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO SUE A HOSPITAL, DOCTOR OR MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL IN A COURT OF LAW.

This is why it is almost impossible to find a lawyer to go after a Hospital or Doctor for any type of Medical Malpractive or Negligence.  It costs too much and lawyers are only looking for catastrophic cases.

TORT REFORM - my friends .  Years ago, the insurance companies, hospitals and doctors SOLD THE PEOPLE OF THE USA A FALSE BILL OF GOODS - TELLING THE PEOPLE THAT TORT REFORM IS NEEDED TO STOP THE FLOW OF LAWSUITS AGAINST THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY.

The people were told that, if Tort Reform was passed and made into law, insurance rates would go down, and medical costs would not rise.

Well guess what folks!  The Trial Lawyers were right in trying to tell people the real truth - which is now the sad fact today.  IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND A LAWYER TO SUE A HOSPITAL, DOCTOR, OR MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.

IT IS EVEN DIFFICULT FOR YOURSELF TO WIN IN SUCH CASES.

SADLY, THE PEOPLE BOUGHT THE LIES.  

THE UNHAPPY TRUTH, IS THAT HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS DID RISE AND THE COST OF MEDICAL CARE DID RISE - AND NOT GO DOWN AS THOSE IN FAVOR OF 'TORT REFORM' SAID THEY WOULD.

NOW WE HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT - AND THE FACT THAT STATES ARE MOSTLY NOT ON THE SIDE OF THE PEOPLE AND - PROTECT THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY.

Sadly, it is also unfair for those hospitals, doctors, and medical profressionals - who truly care about their paitents.  THE BAD APPLES ARE LUMPED INTO THE SAME BASKET AS THE GOOD ONES.

In short, it is very unfair, that the State of Wisconsin - Dept of Health Services - failed to help me.  They are clearly to blame for the continued frustration in my battle with a local Hospital - Aspirus Langlade Hospital.

Folks,  here is Flint again.  He is all over this Rip off Report site.  I have read some of his unfounded comments on my own and other peoples reviews.

He is simply a PARASITE, WHO GETS HIS FUN RIDICULING PEOPLE, WHO HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH BUSINESS, OR OTHER ENTITIES.

He offers no help.  No good advise.

He is just there trying to HURT AND INSULT people who already have problems with businesses, government or other entities.

FLINT, JUST GO AWAY AND LEAVE PEOPLE'S COMMENTS ALONE.  IT IS CLEAR YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY THAT IS HELPFUL IN ANY WAY.

FLINT, AND HIS HATEFUL COMMENTS, SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THIS IMPORTANT WEBSITE.

To all other Folks out there, IF YOU SEE ANY HARMFUL COMMENTS OR REBUTTALS FROM FLINT, - DO A CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENT ON YOUR OWN - OR JUST IGNORE THIS PARASITE CALLING HIMSELF A PERSON.

Your complaint is utter nonsense

 You have posted about this endlessly, and I'm sick of reading your drivel. The state most likely is, too. You got the services you ordered. Just because there was some miscommunication doesn't mean someone owes you something. State regulators can enforce violations of laws. The fact that you are unhappy or feel entitled to something isn't a reason for them to get involved. And thank God for tort reform putting Karens like yourself in their place.
