Quoted a price for flooring, needs home owner to purchase and haul all materials to the property. Worked for 45 min. , made some bad cuts on the materials i paid for and left the property before job was completed. I called and asked when he would return to finish the job and he told me " I will let you know"'.

After 10 days of my appliances being in my livingroom i hired someone else to finish the work. He calls 12 days later and i told him i hired another company, He still wants full payment for 1/5 of the work and leaving me hanging...He then will try to slap a lien on your property..

This scam is called extortion and if he tries this on you ,, call the police and attorney general.
