Desert Canyon Events, LLC FRANK WILLS, Stole my CASH deposit, than told me to sue him if I wanted it back! Buyer BEWARE of this creep Kingman AZ

 I paid Frank Wills, the owner/president of Desert Canyon Events, LLC, $5600.00, the cost of a local event. This was to cover the cost of the event of a 20x20 booth space. I paid Frank by wire transfer four months in advance. Two days before the event, I arrived to set up my booth. Everything was waiting at the security shack for me.  When I get there, no reservation is waiting. Oh, I argued with the security; showed him the text messages from Frank Wills. The security guard calls the event director, Jackie. She tells me Desert Canyon Events has eight complaints in her office about stealing people's money. This year will be the last year they will work with them to get vendors. I asked her if I could still get a booth, and she said no. This event was to profit me at least $27,000. with over 500,000 spectators expected.

I drive to the address on his business card and receipt. 1308 N Stockton Hill Road, suite A-136 is a mail room. They do not have their own office they share an address with 120 other people who rent a box at this address. It's like a fly-by-night business address. While I was waiting, the guy came out and tells me Frank Wills just walked into the building. What luck. When I approach him and tell him of my problem, he says the stories on the internet are nothing but lies. He said he didn't have a deposit for the booth rental, I showed him the bank draft into his account. He said he must have overlooked the payment if it was even an actual paper I was showing him. he said his company was broke and, at this time, couldn't give any refunds; his company was filing for bankruptcy. He said if I felt I owed him money, take him to court.
