Dilmar Group Ltd. Dilmar Roofing, Durable & Negotiable Roofing and General Contracting Company Wrongful Dismissal / Theft from Employer Bradford Ontario

Dilmar Group Ltd. utilizes a sub company, Durable & Negotiable Roofing and General Contracting Company with owner, Arthur Delorn T J and to say the least, Arthur treats their employees with utmost disrespect which is why several of employees quit and go their separate ways.

Not to mention, on the job the owner (Arthur) smokes cannabis and drinks alcohol throughout the entire length of the job site at extreme heights which is severely dangerous.

Arthur also fired one of his best employees after requesting his employee to receive his second vaccine (COVID shot). The employee was still experiencing side effects after receiving the second shot on Saturday and called in the early Monday morning to Arthur stating he would be unable to work / lift severe bundles which can vary from 100-150lbs. Arthur became very rude and said he would only be required to do minimal lifting. On several Ontario sites, it simply states “By law, the employee is allowed 3 paid days after COVID-19 vaccination if experiencing side effects.”

By Tuesday, Arthur became extremely rude and fired the employee due to him not making it to work on the Monday. The employee asked kindly for his $2,000 worth of tools that Arthur had been holding onto in the employer truck and Arthur simply stated, “Do you have receipts for any of the tools?”. After constant back and forth communication, Arthur is denying the tools are the employees even though they are marked with the employee’s initials. Arthur has blatantly robbed / stolen $2,000 worth of tools from this employee.

As a roofing company and their services, I do not have any negative feedback, however I would think twice before considering joining Dilmar Group Ltd. and any sub company as a team member.
