I was a tenant of Jeffrey Miller and Veit Von Parker, President of Display Dynamics located at 1866 Shiloh Springs Road, Dayton, Ohio, 45426. I leased a portion of their facility for over two years. My lease was up in April 2025, but Mr. Miller and Mr. Von Parker said they could extend my lease to June 15th if I would pay for the remainder of the time. The rent was $1,284.00 each month

The issue here is I agreed to have the lease extended and paid to rent the space through June 15th. I promptly paid the rent for the period of May 1st to June 15th. Mr. Von Parker told me the beginning of May while I was at the warehouse that he wanted my space by June 1st because he had wanted to start up metal fabrication in the area I was leasing. I made a deal with them that if I could move out by June 1st, he would refund me the rent for the period of June 1st to June 15th. The amount would be $642.00 dollars. Mr. Miller, the building owner, stopped by to talk with me about 5:00 PM on May 23rd and confirmed the refund with me.

I was moved out by June 1st. They began using the space as soon as I moved out, including parking a Display Dynamics 18-wheeler semi-truck inside. Soon after, Mr. Miller told me that they wouldn’t give me a refund like they promised, and both Mr. Miller and Mr. Von Parker cut off communication and quit answering my calls and texts. They are supposed to be partners in this sign business, with Mr. Miller owning the building and Mr. Von Parker running the day-to-day. All I want is my $642.00 dollars returned to me.

Display Dynamics, INC and the warehouse they are housed seem to have a lot of problems with their electricity and their plumbing. The owner of the building is Jeffery Miller and the president of the company Display Dynamics is Veit Von Parker. Their bathrooms were closed and needed repairs. There were pieces of the ceiling that were falling down. There were some rodents running around. Glass was all over the floor, and boards and beams strewn about everywhere. They said that they worked with hazardous gases that needed ventilation and care, but they didn’t wear masks, have any first aid kits, eye washing stations, fire prevention, etc. Monday June 9th, 2025 approximately 9:00AM I saw a male employee step outside seemingly trying to catch his breath. They had two bathrooms but one was locked up and the other was out of order. There was heavy machinery including cars, vans, trucks bobcats, saws, etc. No one wore any safety helmets or other precautions. No hazmat warning signs or exit signs. Lighting was very minimal and usually very dark.  The air was usually thick and dusty.

Display Dynamics was very secretive about whatever work they were doing. There didn’t seem to be over two to three workers. You just must wonder how they were making money, since they never actually manufacture any sign displays. Nothing was handicapped accessible or accommodating.  How can you have business with employees but deny them access to a restroom, safety, and correct lighting.

I did have everything moved out of the space by June 1st  , 2025 as Veit Von Parker requested.  Display Dynamics immediately began using the space but refuses to refund my rent.

True character is shown in making right choices even if no one is looking. Display Dynamics INC. and it’s leaders have proven them to be untrustworthy. Don’t trust this company with your business!!! During my tenancy I hardly ever saw any employees working. They are a sign and display company and have been at this location for over a year but they have not put up their company sign.  The sign in front reads Allen Refrigeration. The address: 1866 Shiloh Springs Road, Dayton, Ohio 45426.
