Dixie movers was hired off Angie's list to move me on Septemeber 1, 2021  from Palm Beach to Sarasota.  They were short staffed, unprepared, short on protection blankets and wrapping materials.  The crew was terrible. My laminate floors were all scratched up, my doorway mouldings and doors all scratched up and chipped.  Driveway pavers all chipped and scratched from the truck lift, electrical outlets outside broken, pool deck all scratched up, front entranced door all scratched, many pieces of furniture were broken, scratched up with some items unrepairable, holes in furniture, broken glass tops, broken desk legs.  

The mover owner Dave promised before getting paid that he had a company coming to repair/replace the driveway pavers.  Dave also promised that the 2 desk legs would be ordered immediately. Dave further promised that the fire place glass would be ordered the next day.  Dave even told me to write it on the invoice under my signature that the "Damage to be settled tomorrow on 9/2/21".

 After the check cleared he stopped taking my calls.  Here we are are 45+ days later and he's forgotten about everything.  It seems it was all a lie to give the check enough time to clear.  He made me a trinket offer but refuses to supply the information that he has based that trinket offer on.  His insurance copmanies, to this day are refusing to answer our calls or requests for an adjuster to come see the damage.  

This company is running a SCAM by putting out this 'I'm so professional look' but clearly are not, in my opinion professional movers like advertised.  Almost $3,000.00 I was charged to have all my property wrecked.
