When I first heard rumors about Dr. Kyan Karbassy's Business practices and dealings with community members I was disgusted. I decided however to take the time to do my own research before passing judgement. What I discovered was that this "Doctor" or "Health Treatment Expert" as he refers to himself was not just a money hungry greedy dirtbag but turns out he is a racist. Below are just a few horrifying posts that I found online and to be honest I didn't have to look too hard.

Do not send your personal injury case to Dr. K! He is greedy and wants to take more than 70% of my daughter's settlement. He billed us over $7,600.00 for my daughter's treatment. The insurance said that Dr. K over-treated her. Also, he went as far as putting a bar complaint against my attorney because he didn't like the negotiations and he will show up to my daughter's upcoming hearing to demand his bill be paid. This makes me sad because I started going to him when he barely opened his practice many years ago. I never had an issue with him until my husband and daughter were involved in a car accident, and Dr. K heard money ringing in his ear.  Money is the root of all evil. 

Very disappointed!

I normally don't write reviews but I had to for this place. I came here to get adjusted because I was having severe lower back pain. The chiropractor wanted me to see him 3x a week, use litocane injections in my back, and join a program which I was simply not interested in as I felt that was a little extreme when I felt adjustments were really ALL I needed. When I told him no he got visibly upset or annoyed and kept asking me "what are you so scared of?" He was obviously mad that I didn't want to be treated as such all I wanted was adjustments 1x a week. I even asked the people at the front desk how much my visit would cost or even if my insurance was covering some of the treatments and no one would answer me or they would pass me off to someone else who didn't have answer. I feel like this place just wants you to get into a big money pit. I'm very disappointed that he couldn't work around what I wanted as a patient. I will never come here again as it was the most uncomfortable and unpleasant experience with a chiropractor..

Re: Hostile Environment as a neighbor

Dear Kyan,

We were a group of young professionals who were visiting Arizona for the first time and were lodging with the Manor Retreats at 5309 E Valle Vista. We really do not appreciate the negativity and hostility that you displayed to us over the three-day period. There is voice recording of you screaming out profanities and derogatory slurs at us for no apparent reason. We were within our rights to congregate on a property that we had rented out. On Saturday night when we came back from a nice dinner and were walking back to our rooms while still chatting there’s a clear voice recording of you shouting out insults to us and us quickly dispersing because we were uncomfortable and scared that the hate in your speech could be translated into violence with a deadly weapon. We write this open letter to you just simply to express how pained we are that at this point in 2021 there is still room for hate in the United States.

If you are considering using Dr. Kyan Karbassy for your pain management I would think again. I am sad to say that the rumors seem to be true. This man is nasty, unethical and should not be allowed to practice.
