Dry Clean City Took Three Weeks to Return My Shirts, Done Correctly Lady Lake, Florida

Dry Clean City, 13745 N US Hwy 441 in Lady Lake.  Stay away from this place. I don't know what they do as far as dry cleaning, but I gave 2 shirts to them for a simple bottom hem, and it took them 3 weeks to return the shirts done correctly.  First of all, they send your stuff out to Leesburg, about 30 miles away to be done. Next, my shirts were never ready when I went there to pick them up. The person who I gave them to spoke little English, it was on a Thursday, and she  wrote they would be ready by the following Wednesday after 3 PM.  I go there and I find out not only are they not ready, but they are not even in the store.  I wanted them for a vacation I was leaving for on Saturday.  I called Thursday and Friday and they still were not back.  Now I come back a week later and find the shirts not done as I requested.  Seems the person I left them with was the owner's wife, who speaks so little English, she didn't understand what I told her to do, and didn't put it in the computer either.  Now the person there sent them back on a Monday and told me she would put a rush on it.  I called Friday and this same person told me they were there.  I go there ( 8 miles, for the 3rd time ) and she can't find them. They were not there, still in Leesburg !  Then this woman asks me if I spoke to her.  She was the only one there when I went there and called.  Now I have to wait another 3 days.  So it took me 4 trips and a half dozen calls to get my shirts.  No wonder they make you pay first, that way they can hold your clothes as long as they want and they know you will be back for them. I don't know how this place stays in business, but I found a private alterations person to go to. Half the price, nearby, and she doesn't send out your clothes to another place or hold them hostage for weeks.
