If you’re thinking about hiring Stohler Roofing, I strongly urge you to do thorough research first. Although they claim to be a veteran-owned business on HomeAdvisor, there are serious concerns about their business practices that every homeowner should be aware of.

The owner, Dustin Stohler of Zionsville, Indiana, is currently involved in multiple lawsuits filed by former clients. In many of these cases, he represents himself as an attorney. You can easily verify this by visiting mycase.in.gov and searching his name. One notable case is Beacon Sales Acquisition Inc. v. Dustin Stohler, where a judgment was entered against him.

There are numerous negative reviews across Google, HomeAdvisor, and other platforms describing experiences such as:

• Upfront payments collected with little or no work completed

• Poor or incomplete workmanship

• Lack of communication and failure to respond to concerns

• Difficulty recovering funds or obtaining a refund

If you are someone who has already paid Stohler Roofing and are facing similar issues, there are steps you can take:

1. File a formal complaint with the Indiana Attorney General’s Office

2. Report the business to the Better Business Bureau (BBB)

3. Consider filing a claim in small claims court to try to recover your money

Recommendation: If you’re considering legal action, I recommend contacting Joshua W. Casselman at Rubin & Levin, P.C.. He successfully represented Beacon Sales Acquisition Inc. in their case against Dustin Stohler. His experience with these matters could be valuable if you’re seeking legal representation.

Protect yourself by doing your homework and reviewing both legal records and customer reviews before making any decisions.

Report Them To The BBB???? WHAT A JOKE!

AUTHOR: Irv. - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, March 29, 2025

The BBB with all their well known and obvious PHONY BALONEY is NOT part of ANY government body, even though they try to DECEIVE the public into thinking they are by referring to themselves as "bureau".The BBB with all their PHONY BALONEY has ZERO POWER to force any business to do anything or enforce any business laws. The ONLY purpose of the BBB with all their PHONY BALONEY is to SELL their useless ratings to any business willing to pay the price. Those "A+" fake "ratings" are PAID FOR. That's why they have a "GET A Quote" page on their website. The BBB with all their PHONY BALONEY is a Pay-For-Play Scam. Any complaints sent to the slime balls at the BBB become SALES LEADS to SELL the business their PHONY, useless PURCHASED "ratings" and THAT is a FACT known by the business community.
