Went in to get an estimate on damage from deer strike on my 21 Lincoln Aviatior Grand touring black label.  I needed to get an estimate for insurance company.  While there also discussed the possibility of fixing a small ding on door as well as side glass.  I was told I would get an estimate for those repairs separately.  He had me sign a dark red form hard to read with black lettering as I asked for the additional estimate.  His response "sure if you can sign this we will get that to you".  Turns out it was a form instruction insurance to cut check directly to Eby Collision.  I have found a shop much closer than Eby an hour away.  Also looks like I may have to pay this out of pocket and go after insurance separately.  I am finding parts about 30% less than Eby Collision prices.  Also finding that there are many parts not damaged but are on the estimate.  I believe it is clear what business practice they follow.  Eby Collision is holding the estimate hostage until I pay for the side window glass which has nothing to do with the separate insurance claim.  BE VERY AWARE OF THIS BODY SHOPS BUSINESS PRACTICE
