El Churrero LLC Threatened my family until I paid Encinitas CA

I wanted to hire this business for my wedding. They asked for a $250 deposit which I sent. Then communication stopped. I didn't know whether or not they were actually coming to my wedding or not. I requested insurance information which the venue required, and I never received a response. I did not want them to come on the day of because of lack of clarity, and I figured I would lose the deposit money which I was ok with. When they arrived late, I told them not to unload and they left. Immediately after, I kept receiving text messages from the owner, Tyler Hanson. He wanted me to pay full price even though I did not receive his services. He found the address of where my elderly parents, and my 15 year old brother live and sent it to me. I assume he used it as a threat and it worked. I paid him before the official due date for fear of my family's safety. Even after I paid him, he still demanded payment. From the day after my wedding until a few days after I paid the man, I received daily texts demanding payment. In the end, I paid full price, and instead of receiving his services, I was harassed on a daily basis. I have the text messages and will attach here if allowed. I would like a full refund, but of course I realize that will probably not happen. All I want now is for my story to be heard so that this does not happen to anyone else. I am still in fear for my family's safety because he knows where they live. It is a possibilty that they will be forced to move if he continues to harrass me and my family.
