Erik Guillory and State Farm took about $10,000.00 in premiums this year from my family. We had a major hail storm to hit our house on 6/20/23. The storm blew out our windows. It’s been a record hot summer and is currently 100 degrees in my home. State Farm sent a letter non-renewing our policy prior to sending an adjuster. We’re going on almost 2 months with no AC… No windows… It’s raining in my upstairs… Brayden, one of Erik’s employees told me there was no coverage for the damage caused by rain water… Had they promptly addressed and paid the claim, I wouldn’t have rain water in my home. SF also discontinued our temporary housing prior to adjusting and paying the claim. And I’ve spent about 3 hours on hold with their claims department today. Erik doesn’t take calls, respond to emails… I guess I’ll have to take a road trip to Broussard to get results.

This Is NOT Amateur Night!

AUTHOR: Irv - (United States)

Lets move forward with this, all right? Stop messing around with it and get an attorney who regularly sues insurance companies. This will probably be a "contingent fee" case which means you don't pay anything until you win. You don't need to accept this garbage from the insurance company! Do you understand that? The insurance company "adjuster" works for the insurance company and NOT for you. The insurance company adjuster's job is to save as much money for the insurance company as possible. That adjuster is NOT YOUR FRIEND! When you get an attorney, that attorney will no doubt bring in an independent adjuster who's loyalty IS TO YOU. Right now, the insurance company thinks you are just too stupid to deal with this and you are an easy mark for them to get by paying as little as possible. Again I urge you (and if you could hear me) I would be SHOUTING THIS AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE...get yourself an attorney and start the attorney search one second after you are done reading this! Again, you want an attorney who has experience fighting insurance companies. There's no need for you to go anywhere or to try to fight this your self.
