I strongly advise against hiring Eva Tameling of Tameling & Associates, P.C. in Oak Brook, Illinois. My experience with her was not only disappointing but damaging. Her representation left my finances, legal outcomes, and—most importantly—my children in a far worse position than if I had handled the matter on my own.

Ms. Tameling was consistently difficult to reach, even during urgent moments. Despite placing over five calls for a critical issue, I never received a response. Her advice was consistently poor and short-sighted, and I often felt that my concerns—especially those involving my children—were met with indifference. It became clear to me that her priorities centered more on billing hours than on advocating effectively or ethically.

Another attorney I later consulted even commented that Ms. Tameling is known in the legal community as a “has-been” and not taken seriously. Sadly, my personal experience supports that view.
