Extreme Tactical Dynamics (later refered to as "ETD") will seem like an honest business at first, but the first moment of issue and you will see their true colors. I am a police officer who has conducted many transactions with ETD in the past, but never had to contact them for any issues. The products always arrived and seemed to be of decent quality; unitl the following happened:
I placed an order(s) for emergency vehicle lighting and accessories in the end of March 2015 for over $400 combined, as I had in the past for various items. Immediately the funds were removed from my account, not upon shipment like most honorable companies, and a few days later I was notified that the items were on "backorder" via email (copied and pasted below) with an unknown shipment date, but "roughly estimating ... 2-3 weeks." I immediatly contacted ETD to find out more details about the "backordered" status, as I needed the product sooner than "roughly ... 2-3 weeks." First I tried calling during business hours... I was immediately placed in a calling queue on hold with music. After approximately 3 minutes a prerecorded message played that stated "All of our agents are currently busy. Please send us an email. Goodbye." and the call was disconnected. So I waited a few minutes and called again, same message and disconnection. I called again and again over the course of the next few days, all during business hours, and the same message and disconnection occured (same as stated in another Ripoffreport!). To this date, I have never gotten a person on the phone during business hours and have been directed every time to the same message and had the call disconnected.
Because I had not been able to get through by phone I started emailing by replying to the "backordered" staus email. The first email was to inquire about the "backordered" status and for more information. I immediately recieved a response a few hours later answering most of my questions, but not about timeframe. So I replied to that email and asked again about time. To which I got another quick response, which finally answered my question about timeframe; stating "2 [more] weeks." Now here is where it gets interesting and a little TOO coincedental if you ask me...
Well I decided that I couldn't wait another two weeks, it had already been a week and I should have already had my items, plus I had no lights in the front of my patrol car which had just been issued (a new 2013 Dodge Charger) for excellent service. So I replied once again to go ahead an cancel my order, as I could not wait the extra two weeks (actually I tried calling again first because it states in their rules to call in order to cancel an order; interesting huh because they don't answer their phone. However, it does not state to call for cancellation in the email option to cancel **see below**). I recieved no response to the cancellation email I sent. So I emailed again, stating I need a response to my email that I would like to cancel my order as the option given to me in the "backordered" status email. Again, no response.
Long story short, I was forced to contact my credit card company (thank God they are a good company) and explain my predicament, who reversed the charges from ETD since I had not recieved any items and I wished to cancel my order. I still, to this date, have not heard back from ETD by phone or email about canceling my order, nor have I recieved a refund for the second part of my order (around $64 not charged to the same card). As for the second part of the order around $64 I can still use the parts and is not as time sensitive, so we will see if they ship the items. If they do not, I will contact my other credit card company for a reversal (if possible) and their local Sheriff's office about the fraudulent business practices. Even my credit card company apologized for ETD's behavior and stated that it was "unacceptable for companies to conduct themselves in this manner."
Below is the copied and pasted "backordered" status email received from ETD (not recieved until the 4th day after the funds were transferred from my account); notice the bottom line about cancellation:

As I can not see your full name or your order #. I do not know the full details of what has happened here.
I would like to offer you my apology for issues you have described. As you mentioned in your report you have bought from us before and have never had any issues.
We do realize our phone lines stay very busy and sometimes it is very difficult to get a customer service rep on the phone. We are here and we do answer the phones. To helpwith this we have recently added a Live Chat option to the website and you can talk to one of our in house customer service reps durign our business hours. We do not outsource this to other companies our people are the ones that are dealing directly with you.
Again I apologize for the issues that you had with our company. We depend on first responders to keep us in business and unfortunately it looks like we upset you in your latest transaction with us.

To show how dirty, scheming, and pathetic this company is I am writing this update to show what you will be getting into if you do business with this company, please keep in mind I had been a long time customer of Extreme Tactical Dynamics (ETD) or Aspire Sales and this is how they are treating me; all for trying to cancel an order that they backordered. This was the only order I have ever tried to cancel with ETD.
As described in the origianl report, I had attempted multiple times to cancel my order with ETD via phone, email and eventually had to have the credit card company reverse the charges. Well ETD is STILL trying to push the order through and will not let it go. ETD has now shipped the order that I had cancelled through the ways described above; and yes, for those doing the math it was not "2-3 weeks" backordered it would be now over 5 weeks since the origianl order if I had not cancelled it. Some of you might be saying "good, free stuff." Well unfortunately no, that is not how it works. ETD knows that if they send the items and get confirmation they were sent and received, they are requiring signature on the shipment, that they can petition the credit card company to reverse the reversal and give them MY money back that was taken away from them. Interestingly enough, every shipment I have received in the past from ETD has NEVER required a signature. Unfortunately for ETD I have refused the shipment because I am wise to what they are trying to do, not to mention I have already bought other products, and I also have a very long paper trail to prove the cancellation and their tactics. Furthermore, I still have never gotten a response from ETD to any of my previously sent emails or phone calls and yes the disconnection and phone message still happens as well.
Be advised that ETD has also changed a lot of their return, shipment, etc. policies. You might want to read them before you order because it is more evidence to show what they will do to you if you do business with them or on how they conduct business. The following are exerpts from ETD's policies listed on their website, the highlighted one is new:
"We only accept returns for warranty repair or replacement. Returns for any other reason will not be accepted"
"If you wish to cancel an order, you must do so via phone." (FYI: They won't answer the phone as described above.)
"There is no guarantee that an order can or will be cancelled after the sale has been initiated." **NEW** (Contradictory to other statements in emails and even in their policies page.)
"Any defective merchandise will be exchanged or repaired at our discretion"
Think about how all of these things are to avoid giving you your money back or have the ability to return your product for ANY reason! Also keep in mind that even if they say you can cancel or return an order or product...They didn't for me and it was stated clear in the "backorderd" email that I could!**see original report above**
