Horrible scam!!! They sent me glasses with non- prescription lenses. They spoke abusively to me, harassed me with a borage of rude, abusive, disrespectful, derogatory emails. I got scammed. Had I known eyeglassesdepot.com was hole in the wall dump in Brooklyn run by an abusive, lying monster, I would have never spent my over $350 at this place. Very upset and disappointed. Please do NOT do business with this shady establishment. Buyer Beware!

Before becoming suspicious of their practices and determining that my eyeglasses were fake, they contacted me by email. They said someone wanted my frames because they were discontinued. This should have sent off a red flag since I just received my glasses from an order one week prior. How could they be discontinued that quickly? Anyway, they said they'd pay $70 for the frames. Well, I just spent over $350 on my glasses so I wasn't going to sell those. I explained I had the same frames from years prior that I barely wore. I sent numerous pictures of them from several angles to show they were in like new condition.

They accepted, I accepted and I carefully packaged and shipped the glasses, supposedly to the person that wanted them. A week later I start getting horribly mean, abusive harrasing emails say I was "disgusting" for chewing on my glasses. Acuasing me of misrepresenting and lying. Apparently, they were saying I sent them glasses that were chewed at the arm tip. This was NOT what I sent them. I showed them pictures that clearly represented the excellent condition my frames were in. They sent me pictures of chewed arm tips from the suppossed "customer" that received them and was dissatisfied due to them being chewed. In one email they actually apologized for accusing me. Then 5 minutes later, I get angry threatening emails once again saying I misrepresented.

For $70, this is not worth it, or for any amount of money. I sent back the $70 for the frames they "bought" from me just to stop the harassment. Still the harassment continued! What do they want from me? They already got my frames and for FREE! Thats when I thought, I need to check out my lenses. Ever since I got them they didn't seem to correct my vision. I dont have a strong prescription. I took the glasses to my eye doctor. He put them in a machine that detects the prescription. No prescription in the lenses. So not only did I waste over $350 on fake glasses, I also went through all this turmoil with the "frame buy back" scam. I dont think I've ever had a worst business experience in my entire life. The abusive and harassing emails were literally traumatizing. Buyer beware! Scam!!
