I returned to the Lansing area after being gone for 15 years. I take good care of my vehicle and was looking for someone to partner with me in caring for it. I tried Fast Eddies, unfortunately.

Strike 1:  I went to Fast Eddies to get the oil checked and to see about their car wash services. (After pulling in I asked about their car wash program, and I was given a brochure to review. I then waited; and waited; and waited; and waited; by the time the EE came back he wanted to know what service I wanted? I told him, at this point, I would just like to be set free from being captive in your "service" bay. I thought, to my regret, this is a nice enough fellow but probably new and without experience and likely poorly trained. So, I took off for South Lansing to try the Fast Eddie's there thinking, "just a new guy and it will be different at the next location." Wrong. See Strike 2 for how that turned out. Ugh!

Strike 2:  Having already decided to use Valvoline for oil changes, I arrive at the South End location and ask if I can sign up for their regular car wash service, but for some reason they "were out of stickers" or some other excuse. The employee did not seem very happy to be working there but I just wanted a car wash at that point. I did find myself asking, "are all of their employees incompetent, poorly trained, and unhappy?"

Strike 3 I then went through the car wash only to find the next day my antenna was missing. (Not a big problem, right? Wrong? Estimates range from $500 to over $2000) Called Fast Eddies trying to work it out and they refused to do so. No creative solutions, no real concern for me or, apparently, their own business. They say, "it must have happened somewhere else". Really? All I did was drive the distance from the car wash to my home etc. driving just a few miles. Just exactly how, tell me, would an antenna with five bolts come loose without a major intervention of force, such as, say, might be found at a car wash? I have seen an attorney and he says, “You have a claim”; I promised them I would inform the public and the authorities about my experiences; I have a feeling I am not alone in this.

You are warned. Use Fast Eddies at your own risk.

They really do not have their act together and do not seem to care much about it when damaging their customers’ automobiles.

Thank you,
