I showed up at the Fed Ex location at 5854 Barnes Rd. in Colorado Springs, Co. The female employee that was there raced me to the door and yelled "we're closed"!! in a rude and abusive manner. This place of business should have been open but this female employee was just too lazy to help a customer at the end of the day.
If she would have waited on me she would have found out that I had a preprinted and prepaid address label. This might have taken two minutes out of her day but she was more interested in going home than helping a customer.

This woman should not have accepted a position with ANY company that requires she close the business BEFORE the published closing time. If she wants to set the hours she should buy her own company. I was there BEFORE the published closing time which means I LEFT EARLY ENOUGH.
YOU are a sick and twisted person that would argue that ANY person-- owner or employee should be able to set their own hours and close whenever they feel like it. Don't advertise 6:00 p.m. and lock the doors BEFORE the published closing time. If anyone makes it to a business BEFORE the published closing time they should be waited on---PERIOD. End of conversation.

Enough of Your Self-Righteousness

You expected the clerk (possibly off the clock) to cater to you due to your inconsiderate act of showing up two minutes before closing. Your claim that she wanted to go home is an assumption. Maybe she had an appointment or maybe she had to pick up a child from daycare. Did you know that daycare facilities penalize parents $10-$50 for late pickup? Perhaps in the future you could be more respectful of others by leaving the house a few minutes earlier.

I have NOT evaded ANY question

This will be my last reply to you as you are a waste of my time. I very clearly stated that I was there by 5:58 according to my cellphone. This lazy, wothless person was ONLY interested in going home--not assisting a customer. If you state that you will be open until 6:00 p.m. then you wait on every person that arrives by 6:00 p.m. I would never race to the door to shut out a customer. EVER. Even if that person had arrived at a couple of minutes past closing time. I still believe in customer service. I do NOT watch a clock. The door was still unlocked but even if it wasn't I would personally still assist a customer.

Time of day includes numbers and a colon. It appears that confuses you. Thank you for dodging the question.

It was BEFORE the published closing time of 6 p.m. When a business says that they are open until a certain hour then they should wait on every customer up until the closing time. NOT race the customer to the door BEFORE they are supposed to be closed simply because they are too lazy to wait on a customer and wants to go home.

To the person who responded what time of day was it. It was BEFORE closing but only by a couple of minutes. I worked for an employer that use to park across the street to see if anyone in the store tried to runoff a customer before closing.
