The Friendly Investors @thefriendlyinvestors.com Elderly Abuse - Scammed my Father out of Thousands tampa florida

This company posts land on craigslist for low prices, then when someone calls (elderly or unaware) they try to sell them overpriced land. My father was buying land from another state, they rushed him, made him put down a $5,000 (non refundable) deposit, rushed a14 day close, site unseen, & recomenended against an inspection.

He flew to the state to view the land prior to the clsoing date, saw it was not what they explained, and then emailed them (in writing) telling them that he did not want to move forward with the sale. They did not return his calls or emails. They ignored him until one day after the closing and told him that he signed a non refundable agreement and that he had to pay that amount.

My father is elderly, gets lost in technology, and this company scammed him, didn't have his best interest in mind, and stole thousands of dollars from him. They are thieves, unethical, and not a business that anyone should deal with. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General and FREC.
