In 2012 I produced, wrote and directed the documentary The Rise and Fall of The Clash.
This person was supposed to send me a monthly report which I never got and I was supposed to get 25% of the benefits.
Aveni, in cahoots with executive producer Mary Marr stole all the proceedings and to this day I haven't been able to retrieve my film.
It's worth mentioning that Mary Marr is now behind bars for running an international fraud and money laundering ring which at the time I didn't know nothing of. But surely Aveni did as he designed this operation with her.
This lying and cunning individual tailored a contract for me to sign with British co- producer David Mingay, who at the same time had his own agreement with Aveni.
The moment I signed I knew inside I was going to get ripped off but it was the only way the film was going to be distributed and my only way to have a career in the film industry. Or so I thought at the time.
Up to this day I haven't been able to retrieve my film and I haven't been able to sue Icon TV Music or David Mingay.
This is a warning to those who think working with these individuals is a good idea. It's not. Trust me. They'll rip you off just like they did with me.

If all is as you said is true and you have this agreement and hence are being deprived of your money, one question....WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING HERE??? Your FIRST step is to get an attorney to fight for you! Did you even have an attorney OF YOUR CHOICE review this contract to begin with???
