Global Work and Travel Inc. Scammed and took my money Queensland Australian

Please beware. Im 19 years old and was wanting to volunteer my time for a good and healthy cause, saving street animals in south east ASIA. I went on line to Global Work and Travel and within minutes I was contacted by them. They told me everything I wanted to hear and I became very excited. They presured me into commiting to a program and immediately presured me to get my moms credit card to book the event as there were onky a few spot left.

A few hours later I received confirmation that it was booked along with other information stating that Airfare and food expenses were not included. I then immediately went online to look at reviews and noticed that this was actually a scam. I even say CBC News did a segment on how terrible they are. 

Within 2 hours of booking I immediately contacted them to get a refund because the almost $3,000 bill didnt include airfare or food..... This is where it all went downhill and fast. They refused to refund me stating "Buyer beware" and that the information was stated in the fine print.  At 19, I was trying to do something great by giving back my time to society and then this.

Since then, they would not return my call and as a matter of fact when my dad called them to discuss further they hung up on him, and it appears they have blocked us.

I am out the money and shame on me, however if I could save another person from going down this terrible experience then I have succeeded.
