I had a subscription at GoAnimate For Schools for two years, producing more than 70 videos. Last year I received a notice that GoAnimate For Schools was being retired, and that it would not be possible to make any more videos after June 30. Fine. But when June 30 rolled around....all the videos I had made were GONE.
I have contacted the new Vyond site (GoAnimate became Vyond) and have been given a form letter "sorry your videos are no longer available" notice. At no time was I told that the videos my students and I created would simply VANISH and be IRRETRIEVABLE. My students are heartbroken and feel betrayed by a company which simply trashed their hard work. Disgusting.
I continue to refuse to believe that these videos don't exist, anywhere. If I could just be given access to them I would post them privately to YouTube to preserve them...but even this option hasn't been offered. Just terrible treatment of a teacher and once-enthusiastic kids.
