My entire graternity and I were both sent emails from someone named Pat who stated he was ceo of grain and was inviting us to try the service. We were each sent a link, where we needed to provide our names, ss #, address, bank account info, phone number and even a picture of our license. We were told we would hear back. We looked them up and they looked legitimate until we found complaints of fraud regarding them, theft, suspicious activity and harassment.

We then found out they had run out credit without permission and both of us had several hundred dollars missing from our accounts. When we inquired, grain stated we were not approved. when we went to our bank, they stated grain had taken the money as part of a finance charge. We kept calling grain and asking for this pat person, then we found out the ceo was a man named chris and tried to find him, no one would respond to emails, letters or calls. This scam is apparently run by 3 black men out of oakland ca and backed by a ponce bank in new york.

We are still fighting to get our money back and after complaining on several websites, noticed that other people had the same experience with different named men contacting them to try the service, and then getting no response, money taken from their accounts and their credit score lowered even more! This must be stopped.
