Hillcrest Family Services Staff Over-reacted on a Medical Problem, and Caused Alot of Trouble for Me Maquoketa Iowa

If you are seeking Medical or Mental Health Care, stay away from Hillcrest Family Services.

My husband made the mistake (unknown to him at the time ) to make an appointment for me for services.  This facility over reacted on a mental health crisis. Instead of speaking to ME or HIM, they called the Police who took me away to Jackson County Regional Hospital.

There an entire NIGHTMARE of problems happened to me which I am still trying to resolve with complaints to Medicare and the State of Iowa Medical Board.

Hillcrest Family Services often, does NOT answer their phones.  Their staff is inexperienced and incompetant BASED UPON MY OWN EXPERIENCE.

They do not know how to react to situations, and certainly did not handle our problem well.  Instead, these morons call the Police and caused me to have a RECORD, when, they should have just advised that we make an appointment.  That RECORD was totally unnecessary, IF Hillcrest had trained employees who do not over react.  Impossible for me to erase.

My advise to all readers out there, is that if you want such services, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.  Do not call nor use Hillcrest unless you want them to cause you more problems then you already have.  I am certain there are other Medical Facilities out there, that have a better trained staff- even if you have to go to another county or State.
