Hillside Appliance Repair, Reginald, came out to repair my refrigerator and said he would need a deposit of $270. to order the part. I gave him a check for the $270. which he immediately cashed and said he would be back to complete the repairs on Saturday if the part was in on Friday. I called Friday only to be told he would check on it and call me back within 15 minutes. No call received.
After several more calls only to reach an answering machine with no response to my messages. I called another number and reached Reginald. He then promised to refund my money by check. No check arrived! I called again and reached Reginald who now promised he would hand deliver my refund. He never arrived and no communication has been received since.
I was forced to buy a new refrigerator out or desperation. This company has stolen from an 86 year old handicapped woman who can ill afford the loss! Also, research on Yelp has shown this company has performed the same con on several others.
