I purchased a 55in Hisense television (Model 55A6GV) back on November 22nd, 2022.  At the time, the television was hardly used and worked fine with no picture or sound problems. However, on Friday 4/28 after watching television that evening without any issues,  I awoke Saturday morning 4/29 and powered on the television,  there was sound but no picture. There were white lines across the entire screen,  but you could not see anything on the television.  I turned the TV off,  then back on with the same white lines on the screen.  I unplugged the television,  plugged it back-in and it still showed the same lines across the screen.  I contacted the merchant where I purchased the television and was informed the tv was only 5 months old and was still under factory warranty so I needed to contact the manufacturer to repair.  So, on 4/29 I placed a call to Hisense to file a claim for repair.  After speaking to a Hisense rep was told that my warranty would not cover the TV because it was not purchased at an authorized dealer.  The agent stated the dealer that I purchased the TV from was not authorized without even knowing where I purchased the TV from.  I contacted Hisense a second time Tuesday 5/2 to speak to a different Hisense agent and this time,  I was told I did in fact purchase the tv from an authorized dealer and the TV warranty would be covered.  I was told to complete a statement, send pictures, and purchase information.  The information that was requested was sent back,  after a week more pictures were requested and were sent back,  after another week I received a letter from Hisense stating the television internal screen was damaged and warranty would not be covered.  I explained to Hisense it was impossible for a television to have internal damage overnight in an empty room.  The television worked fine Friday evening and was simply only powered off with the sleep timer so there was no physical touching of the television (no kids no pets)  an empty room.   They look for any excuse NOT to honor their factory warranty. They look for any reason not to cover their the warranty on their products. After this experience, I will NEVER purchase another Hisense product EVER! and will be removing all Hisense products from my companies’ facilities. Their customer service is just as poor as their products
