Hobson & Hobson, PC firm took my money, billed me for costly sessions I wasn’t part of, and delivered no meaningful results. Marietta Georgia

This is my personal opinion based on my direct experience with this firm. From the beginning, I experienced inconsistent communication, vague updates, and a lack of transparency about my case. I often had to follow up repeatedly just to get basic information.

At one point, I shared my concerns with the managing partner. Shortly afterward, I received an email from the attorney assigned to my case that, instead of addressing my concerns, focused on listing her degrees and qualifications. In my opinion, this came across as defensive rather than constructive.

I was billed twice — over $500 each time — for “strategy sessions” I was never invited to, was never told about, and never informed of the outcome. Invoices lacked clear explanations, yet the firm had authorization to withdraw funds from my account. In my opinion, the fees I was charged were disproportionate to the work I observed being done.

This all occurred during a stressful time when I needed a firm that would make me feel supported. Instead, I ultimately had to hire another attorney at my own expense and received only a small portion of the funds they held back.

If I could do it over, I would insist on a written agenda before any billed “strategy session,” a detailed written summary afterward, itemized invoices tied to specific work, and a strict spending cap in writing. Without these protections, you risk paying significant amounts for unclear work and ending up without the results you expected.
