Hogansville city of City council Utility Rip off HOGANSVILLE GA

The City of Hogansville Utility is a RIP off.  In July of 2018 the mayor and city council sent a letter to their customers stating that they are 14 million dollars in debt and that in order to recover the debt, the electric rates are going up, the water rates are doubling and the sewer rates are tripling. 

The mayor and the city council claim that they are there for their citizens, but they are spending  our tax dollars on waste expenses.  One of the council members, T. Strickland has been the main instigator of wasting tax dollars and she is very racist.  She claims that all the "caucasian" citizens are "rich" people , but Ms. Strickland lives in a better home than the majority of the citizens she represents. 

There are a few citizens in this town that have "newer" homes and they are paying 1000 a month utility Bill's and when this particular citizen went to the office to see the utility bill and to discuss this bill, they were told that there were no adjustadjustto be made and that they have to pay the 1000 dollar bill. 

Another citizen was also living in a energy efficient home and they were receiving 600 a month electric bill.  These people are working folks and since they gets these bill, they have fell behind on their debts and now they are about to lose their house and has pending lawsuits against them from a bill collector.   

Ms. Strickland is a bully on the city council and she does not care who she steps on to get tax dollars to spend wastefully instead of helping the city to get out of debt and get it back on track.
