Horainy Hryfine Bfecorporation Sold a pair of fake smarwatches and did not respect 14 days return policy Sofia

This smartwatch was aggressively advertised on Duo Lingo and also on the horainy.com site

The claim is it can measure blood pressure and also measure blood sugar non invasively.

I ordered two from the horainy.com web site on June 12th but did not receive a confirmation email or call, as is usual with pay upon delivery purchases.

On June 22nd I got first an SMS and then a call from Speedy courrier service that I have a package and the amount due matched what the checkout page was saying 190 BGN.

I paid and the courrier said their receipt is good enough for any return claim, which in Bulgaria is within 14 days any item purchased online can be returned and redeemed, no questions asked.

I unpacked one watch, studied the microscopic user guide and installed the recommended HryFine Android App from Google Play. I found the advertisement to be completely misleading:

1) Blood sugar measurement was not in the guide or watch menu at all

2) Blood pressure was mentioned in the guide but is not available in the watch menu.

3) Heart rate measurement can be started up from the watch menu, but is completely fake: the watch takes some time and then responds with a heart rate of about 90.  My heart rate is about 60. To my astonishment the watch reported the 90 rate when not being on my wrist at all, so it is not using any pressure sensor or something, just spitting out an average number.

Checking other functions requires a Bluetooth connection to the Phone HryFine App.

The watch is discoverable as a P6 device and the phone reports is as Paired but the HryFine App cannot connect to it and also the watch cannot find a phone no matter how close they are. As both could never connect, the watch kept showing a date back in January and the wrong time, and there is no menu command to set the date and time, usually it is read from the phone.

On next day I wrote to the service@horainy.com to file a return claim. I had no order number as I never received a confirmation email and it was not on the courrier service receipt or on their tracking page. The first Horainy support person assured me that providing my email, phone number and delivery address would be enough to track my order and obviously  horainy did have them and passed on to the courrier service. However later they insisted the order cannot be found. Finally a support person tried to calm me down by saying I need to be patient and my items (already delivered and paid for) could still be with the customs. That was the last email they answered, never called me on my phone or provided a phone number I could call.

So besides misleading advertising the smart watch for functions that are never supported on this watch the customer service experience was a complete disaster and they obviously tried to dodge the return claim.
