House of Stereo, Joe Parvey Not ship expensive merchandize after a year, and not refund me either Jacksonville, FL 

Absolute worst experience in audio ever in my 40 plus years of being in the hobby. I've bought countless pieces of stero gear from Audio dealers around the country, as well as from individual owners with private sales. All in all my experiences have always been positive. Typically this hobby is filled with upstanding, genuinely decent, honest people.

UNTIL NOW! I ordered a $10,000 Wolf Music Server from Joe Parvey of House of Stereo in 09/23. He took in 2 pieces of gear on trade, and I put down a $6000 cash deposit. a 'YEAR LATER' they NEVER BUILT or SHIPPED the unit. Lots of phone calls and texts, always an excuse and a story about being out of town for a show.. etc.. and that my server is almost done and will ship out next week.. Dozens of excuses and stall tactics over the past year. Well again, a year later by 08/24 it still hadn't shipped. Disgusted, and void of any confidence this company or wanting any association with them, I let Joe know I wanted to back out of the deal. Fortunately he agreed. With many calls and texts back and forth they finally shipped my gear back to me, One piece got damaged - although Joe seemed to agree to rectify that, I have no illusions he will ever follow thru.

I still do not have my $6000 back after 2 months of calls and texts and false promises and lame excuses. Now they avoid my calls and wont come to the phone. Unfortunately the gentleman route doesn't work with these people and i am forces to start taking legal action.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Really takes the joy of of this hobby.

There are many upstanding businesses to work with would avoid HOUSE of STEREO at all costs.
