HSBC Bank USA, N.A. Has One Of The Worst Credit Card Service Ever!     I can Not Speak for their Banking Division.   My Very Serious Complaint and/or Negative Reviews Only Reflects Their Credit Card Horrible, Abusive Service.

I was their HSBC Credit Card Customer for nearly 10 Years and Always Paid My Bills On Time and just a few months ago, I applied for their Cash Rewards Credit Card because of the benefits that it offers and they sent ME Out The Wrong Credit Card giving ME so many excuses as to Why I did Not Get The Correct Credit Card.

I did speak with Barbara Janese, Director, Customer Relations at:  (716) 841-0464 (barbara.janese@us.hsbc.com) about the whole situation and Yes, We Did Successfully Work It Out!   However, just a few weeks ago, I sent inside the Metro Grocery store to go shopping for my mother and when I came to the cash register to pay using my Brand New HSBC Cash Rewards Credit Card that was newly activated, I then learned that the card was Declined!

I had No Idea of Why since I pay my bills on time and had No Problem with HSBC since I was their customer for nearly (10) years as previously mentioned.  I immediately contacted the Customer Service Department of HSBC and learned that back on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, they had Purposely and Deliberately Cancelled All Of My Credit Cards without giving ME Notice and/or a Warning Letter and Without A Legitimate Reason!

I did contact Barbara Janese, Director Customer Relations at:   (716) 841-0464 (barbara.janese@us.hsbc.com) to discuss the case and Why The Cards Were All Declined.   Her response was that they do Not Have To Give Me A Reason Of Why They Got Rid Of Me As A Legitimate Customer For No Apparent Reason.

In Any Case:  When I Get Back To Los Angeles, I will be Suing HSBC For Purposeful And Willingful Discrimination, Bigotry, Defamation Of Character, Racism and Prejudice For Maliciously And Illegally Closing My Accounts For No Good and/or Invalid Reasons!   In The Meantime:  There was a Credit Balance In The Amount Of $191.08 Left On The Account Number Ending In #1698 and $54.69 On The Other Account Number Ending In #9628 From Rewards That I Had Earned Through Their Cash Back Program.

I just wonder if I will Ever Get That Money Owed Back To ME In The Meantime!   HSBC Bank USA, N.A. For Their Credit Card Services Really Sucks!   They Just Do Not Know How To Treat Their Loyal And Good Customers!   Thankfully Without Mentioning Names, I Have Found Myself Another Credit Card Company To Work With And Trust That I Will Not Have The Same, Negative Experiences that I had with HSBC Bank USA, N.A.   Thank you.

Sincerely yours,

Fair Credit Reporting Act.

AUTHOR: Robert - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 02, 2019

When you are denied credit, the entity that denies you credit MUST inform you in writing as to WHY you were denied credit per the FCRA. Once you're notified of the credit denial, you may then obtain free credit reports from the 3 credit reporting agencies based on the credit denial.

The author may have an action for a breach of the FCRA, but I suspect that the author isn't telling us everything.

No Lawsuit Potential

AUTHOR: coast - (United States)

If you can prove discrimination, bigotry and racism then you may have a case. Defamation of character? Did they publicly defame you? There’s nothing illegal about closing an account without disclosing a reason.

Credit issuers are not required to offer or extend credit and every business has the right to decline or cancel service to anyone regardless of their good or bad payment history.

Guess what Howard

AUTHOR: Troll Buster - (United States)

POSTED: Sunday, March 24, 2019

They don't need a reason to close your account, and if they do close it they are not required to have you agree with the reason.  They provide you with a credit limit and they have the right to revoke that credit limit at any time.  This is what you agreed to when you opened the account.

There is nothing you posted here that shows any sort of discrimination, defamation, racism or prejudice.

But why do you want to continue to bank with a company  you have written so many  very serious complaints against them?
