I am not retired from work, just the USCG.  At 71 I'm still working to pay the taxes of the 50% that are not working.          

VERY NOBLE OF YOU.

This smells like a domestic dispute and I've listened to hundreds of them over the years. This is the type of venom that one unfortunately hears from both sides.   ON THE CONTRARY, YOU CAN CALL ME MORE OF AN ACTIVIST NOW A DAYS BARRY.  I LEARNED A HARD, VALUABLE LESSON FROM MEETING JONATHAN.  NO REGRETS.  NO VENOM.  SIMPLY A 44 YEAR OLD SINGLE MOM WHO WORKS VERY HARD, LIVES WELL, HAS A LOVING PARTNER BY HER SIDE.  I WILL CONTINUE MY JOURNEY IN WARNING OTHERS WHEN IT COMES TO CON-ARTISTS.  LIKE THE OLD SAYING GOES, 'IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS NOT'.

by Ron Winslow.  There are also a couple of other books out there in which I am mentioned.  I'm about as real as they come!!!!! THANK YOU!!!  ARE THESE FICTION OR NON-FICTION?  I WILL GOOGLE AND CHECK OUT!!  I'M ALWAYS INTERESTED IN A GOOD READ. 

3. Been married 44 years, same woman.   Had my diamonds independently USA appraised to my satisfaction.  CONGRATS TO YOU.  NICE TO HEAR THAT YOUR MARRIAGE WORKED OUT.
  
4.  If I had to separate myself from all those I call friends that have had domestic disputes, drank to much, smoked  some pot, got arrested for something in their life, I would have few folks at my funeral.   I know when I'm on the high ground and can support my position. HA HA HA, I AGREE!!  HAVING SAID THAT, MOST OF MY ALCOHOLIC, DRUG ABBUSIVE FRIENDS AND/OR ACQUAINTANCES ARE NOT ALSO SCAMMING, CON-ARTIST THUGS WHO DO NOT PAY THEIR TAXES.  YES, JONATHAN HAS NEVER PAID TAXES.  ACTUALLY, IF I LEND MONEY TO ANY OF MY ALCOHOLIC, DRUG ABBUSIVE FRIENDS I CERTAINLY WOULD BE REPAID.  PROBABLY WITH INTEREST AS WELL.

after re-reading your post i would like to bring to your attention that two years ago when you said you  purchased diamonds from Jonathan....that was in 2010, correct?  Jonathan was an employee for another diamond company.  Along the same lines as what Jonathan is currently doing today.

he was fired from that company.  Shortly thereafter, he started his own diamond scam.  He was involved in a litigation suit with his past employer for copyright infringment.  How do i know this?  He hired a lawyer in the law firm i work for.  Did i say hire??  Excuse me, he never paid his lawyer's invoice.  How do i know this too you ask???  Because the lawyer came to me to inquire.  I was riddled with embarrassment.  

If i had to guess, i would say that Barry does not exist.

I do not know whether you are a real customer or a fabrication of Jonathan and/or his entourage.

I agree with the above author, do your due diligence and have your precious stone appraised.  

Barry, I have had the displeasure of knowing Jonathan only too well.  I will not get into our past.  I am simply here to make others very aware that Jonathan is never on the 'up and up'.  Look up the word sociopath and narcissistic personality disorder.  He suffers from both those illnesses as well as alcohol and drug abuse.  It is not his fault he turned out like this; i blame his parents/family members who tossed him to the curb.  Jonathan is a 39 years old man with no direction in life.  

Let me ask you Barry, have you met with him at his office (which in fact is his rented appartment in Montreal, Qc.).  He uses disposable cell phones etc.

Jonathan was arrested in June 2008 for domestic abuse.  I know this only too well because I was the victim.

I was also the victim of his other scam involving Ron Corber (google him as well) wherein $150,000 of my life savings was taken from me with the promise that it would turn into millions.  Apparently it turned into Jonathan pocketing $10,000 (a finders fee), baby furniture, trips, groceries, leased vehicles.  I hired a lawyer in 2009 an won judgments against Ron and Jonathan.  These are public records filled with the Superior Court of Justice in Montreal, Quebec.  I urge you to take a moment and review the file.  Once you do, something tells me you will not be too quick to call Jonathan a nice, respectable, up standing businessman.

Barry, have you gotten an independent appraisal of hte diamonds he sold you? do that first, and then see what you think of Jonathan.

I am a very satisfied client who purchased colored diamonds two years ago and have found Jonathons advice and the quality of the diamonds to be right on the mark.  I have been contacted by a past employee of Jonathons trying to sell me diamonds and trying to defame Jonathon.

Diamonds are not a get quick rich scheme or a way to beat the market.  One only needs to look at the many respected investment programs to see the advantages of purchasing colored diamonds as a hard asset vs gold/silver or in addition to gold/silver.

Jonathan Abramson's rebuttal to the March 5th, 2011 posting is laughable.

Jonathan Abramson is uncapable of earning an honest living.  The only way he knows how to survive in life is conning others.  He has been scamming people for approximately 15 years. 

Do not trust Jonathan Abramson.  Do not deal with Jonathan Abramson with regards to any business venture he may be involved in.  Jonathan Abramson does not have an office, nor a business line.  He uses cell phones/calling cards which he disposes of.

JONATHAN ABRAMSON is not to be trusted.  He is a con-artist.  Plain and simple.

Beware.  Stay away.  Hang up the telephone.  Call your local authorities.

My name is Jonathan Abramson, I am the owner of Ice Color Diamonds. I am writing this rebutal so that I might clarify the accusations put forth on myself and my company.

First off, we do not have, nor have we ever had a client named Richard, nor do we have any clients in Dayton, Ohio.

We have already taken legal actions to have these disturbing and false accusations dismissed.

In doing so, we have also discovered that these were the actions of one of our jealous competitors who created a false email account and submitted with ripoffreport a false claim under a made up name. This was done with the obvious intent to do malice to myself and my company.

At Ice Color Diamonds we take great pride in offering our customers impeccable and honorable service. These accusations are false and the accusers will be brought to justice.
