Imran H. Kazmi, MD Unethical behavior Bloomingdale Illinois

I went to see Imran H. Kazmi, MD from Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group at

233 S Gary Ave, Bloomingdale IL 60108-2213 for a routine annual wellness visit. I have a serious medical condition that I see a specialist for and this condition was never discussed or even brought up in the visit. Weeks later when I tried to refill the medication prescribed by this specialist, the pharmacist informed me that the prescription had been canceled by the doctor. I was very confused by this as I had been on this medication for many years. I contacted the specialist’s office and informed them of this problem and they informed me that the prescription had been canceled by Imran H. Kazmi, MD. They immediately sent a new prescription to the pharmacy.

I cannot see any reason for this happening and I believe it is extremely UNETHICAL for a doctor to cancel another doctor’s prescription let alone a specialist. So I called Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group and stated that I wanted to file a formal complaint against Imran H. Kazmi, MD. I was directed to a person named Debbie F. that is all she would provide to me. When I informed her of this incident her first response was “Who told you that?” When I informed her that both the pharmacist and Specialist’s office informed me that Imran H. Kazmi, MD canceled the prescription her response was that is was JUST a mistake. When I pushed back asking what business did his have to override a specialist’s prescription that he was more that UNETHICAL and this was not a mere mistake. At this point all she wanted to do was to hang up on me and ignore this “Doctor’s” UNETHICAL behavior.

Earlier in this conversation I also informed her of Imran H. Kazmi, MD’s nurse who called me on the phone to discuss medical issues on SPEAKER PHONE. Again the nurse would not provide her name.

Basically I do not Trust any doctor from Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group because nothing can be done to hold them to account for their UNETHICAL behavior.
