there  are   numerous  one  star poor  rating   for this   insinkerator   under-counter  hot  water   dispenser  with a  pushbutton on counter top  to  release  hot   water  into your   teacup. consumers   report  that  scalding hot   water   wont  turn  off,  or   pours   out   unexpectedly after   from 1   month  to  2   years  of   use.

the  problem i that  an  o   ring   has   deteriorated   within the push button,  which  cuses the  button to  stick 'down.'  instead of  telling  consumers   to  pry  up the   button and  remove  its  poorly-designed  o   ring, insinkerator  offers   a  whole  new   unit  at   255 off the  $220 to $499  price. it  is   unethical  for   insinkeratro to  not  tell   consumers   that  merely  REMOVING  the  defective   o   ring  will   fix  the  dangerous   condition. see youtube   video:
