Jacob McLaughlin New To Medical Device Sales, Bad course, lies, misrepresentations, shady behavior. Internet

Jacob Mclaughin is the definition of a swindler. And his course/company, "New To Medical Device Sales" is the main tool that he uses. If you are reading this, its probably because you're looking for reviews on what the course is actually like, if it works for most people, and if you should spend your hard earned money on it. In short, no, this course is NOT worth it. 

You are going to pay this man up to $10,000 so that he can treat you poorly and jetset around the world. If that sounds fine to you, then you probably arent interested in the rest of what I have to say. If that sounds shitty to you, thats because it is! 

Jacob claims to "not let just anyone in the course" but in reality, he literally lets EVERYONE in. If you have cash and want a job in medical device sales, you're in! There is no selection process. There is no evaluation. Its just cash in his pocket and you get in. That being said, this is why there are over 150+ people in the course and only Jacob and two other "mentors". This is a big concern because if you are not one of the few that stand out to them, you are easily forgotton and ignored. 

If you arent outright ignored, you will be talked down to on an almost daily basis. Jacob will go on a 30+ min rant on the group calls talking about how its infuriating that people in his course are entitled becuase they want answers to their questions on how to break into medical device sales. Its not entitlement Jacob. Its part of the transaction. They gave you money and you are supposed to be there to serve them in their quest to get a Medical Device Sales job. But no, thats too much for Jacob to manage. He would rather just talk down to you, go on a rant about his personal beliefs that have no basis in reality, or just cut you off mid question and proceed to tell you about what he THINKS you were going to ask. 

If this was not enough, many of the prescheduled calls will just change times and dates without warning regularly. If a call is set for Monday at 5pm, the day before or even the same day it would just be changed or canceled. Some of the reasons for this are Jacob wanting to take a trip to Las Vegas to go to some conference and then realize that he cant make the scheduled call at the last min, so he just pushes back the time and assumes that everyone else can accomodate him. If he decides to take a trip overseas, then you have to change your schedule, because Jacob is too busy haning out with his girlfirend or other tourist adventures. People have busy lives and their time is extrememly valuable. I can understand if its just a "one off" but these calls are regularly rescheduled/cancelled when a mentor cant make a pre-planned time. Everyone in the course is just at these people's mercy even though they paid up to $10k for the privilege of being treated poorly. 

If you do decide you still want to sign up for his course, then at least read the agreement that he has you sign before you join and after he takes your money. It basically says that you are screwed 1000 different ways. Essentially it says that he can do anything he wants and still gets paid and if you do a range of different things, he can take action against you consequence free. Oh, and this is a "Christian" that is asking you to sign this so he can screw you over when things go south. How Christ-like! In truth, he is just Christian when it makes him look good or gets him praise. When things go wrong and you confront him about it, his Chrisitan spirit goes out the window. The document he has you sign basically gives him all the advantages when things go wrong and technically allows him to go after you legally if you call BS on the crappy stuff that goes on in this course. I honestly wish he would go after me as he would immediately regret me telling the truth to everyone about him! 

A very good friend who also joined just got done dealing with the same drama I did and mentioned above months and months ago. After hearing this friends story, I couldnt stay quiet. I messaged others that were in the course and several of them had some very poor things to say about their experience as well. They talked about not being able to reach Jacob or others when they were needed, getting poor advice, staying on calls for hours just to not get a question answered, missing family events just to have calls cancelled, etc.

Jacob makes it seem like most people get Medical Device jobs when, by my estimate, maybe about 10% or less of the people that pay him up to $10,000 land a Medical Device Sales job! 10% or less!! The rest just spend months and months of their lives getting their questions misconstrued or continue to get bad advice because Jacob is too busy spending your hard earned money. There is a reason why he says that he supposedly helped 2000+ people break in, yet only 50 or so give him a glowing review. Its because the other 1,900+ didnt get a Medical Device job. They just paid Jacob a ton of their hard earned money and got nothing but wasted time out of it.

Jacob, we have all compared notes and you are running one hell of a racket! I would suggest that anyone that raises a concern with you going forward, that you take them very seriously and make things right. I for one am not a person that will just stand by and get extorted. I am one of the many people that has got a full refund from my bank because I showed that your course was lying and was fradulent. I sent the bank all of my proof, and guess what, they agreed with me. 

If you come after me or any of these other former students that you ripped off for money that they got back or demanded back, I will make these stories very very public. Social media, news outlets, all that. Do not mess with hard working people who just want what they were promised. Do not lie, cheat, and steal just to support your lavish lifestyle. If you do, you will be exposed in a very open and public way. And you will be exposed with the TRUTH and with FACTS. 

Dont do this course. You can break into Medical Device Sales without this egotistical fraudster. I did myself well after I left this course and I did it my way ignoring everything he was teaching. You can do it too.
