Jamie Hamed is an olympic caliber grifter. Run away. Dont' even think twice. Just hire someone else.

Jamie claimed to be a plumber and an electrician. He is neither. He was monumentally unqualified for the job he was hired to do and represented that he had the skills and licenses to complete professional work in these areas. For a new construction project, Jamie was hired to rough in the plumbing and electric. Since he lied about being licensed in either field, pulling a permit for this work was impossible. We learned he had no licenses after the city was alarmed to find work completed, without a permit having been requested. He simply wasn't competent to do this work. He got spooked about visits from Metro codes and took off. When he left the jobsite, he stole property that belonged to the property owner, including multiple electronic items, tools, digital thermostats, electrical wire, fixtures, and more.

Other qualified trade professional were called in to finish the work. Not surprisingly, actual professionals found that Jamie's work was sub-standard and most of the work had to be ripped out and redone. He is a handyman. He lied repeatedly and misrepresented his qualifications. Wire was used that would never pass code. The wrong size electrical service was being installed for the building. Plumbing basics were ignored and qualified plumbers were horrified by what he claimed was finished work. They laughed and remarked that any fool understands that water flows downhill - apparently not this dude. All the drains in the house were installed incorrectly and would never have drained correctly.

In additional to being an unqualifed, lying, grifter, he is also viscerally disturbing on a personal level. He is a small person - perhaps 5'6" - and clearly struggles with his small stature. This combined with obvious misogyny, produced a veracious bully. His wierd social affect would be kind of humorous if he wasn't just a little bit creepy. For example, when you ask a question about his work, he spends a huge amount of time and energy explaining to you exacxtly how you should speak to him. If you interrupt to ask a question, expect a lecture on the propriety of your behavior, the caliber of your intellect etc. - if you're a woman, that is.

Jamie is a grifter and a thief. Buyer beware. He starts new businesses all the time - check references if you insist on using this liar/loser. Don't say you weren't warned.
