They were referred by a big box home improvement store that we later learned mother Martha who is also an owner works at!! We did not learn this until 10 months after giving our deposit. They showed up as Quezada handyman but their invoice/contract says Javi's construction no real reason given for bait and switch. They demanded more than 1/2 as deposit which goes against state dept of licensing ethics.

They also never provided receipts for materials and never showed up when they said they would. Avoided front door, peered into our picture windows, giving us an unsafe and uneasy feeling. We've asked them numerous times to tell us before stepping foot on our property, they never did and don't care about their customers. They built a wuartz wall and didn't do it right or to the proper height.

When addressed got angry and  evasive. They brought a drug addict to our house without permission I noticed when looking out the window. They extorted more deposit after creating a hostile situation with said drug addict and tape recorded my husband. Then said they'd play it but if we paid more deposit they'd erase it. They lied and didn't erase it.

The deck they tried to build was terrible. It was so bad the city put a stop work on it and the state took a look and said it needs to be torn down. Not safe not quality. They used materials we did not approve. Basically dumpster lumber pieced together with nails as a frame for trex. Noting was level nothing was square. They would also not have proper tools and leave the worksite a mess. They have zero care or consideration for customers property.

They scribbled on our 27k brand new swimspa, left dangerous chemical we never approved around that could shave killed our Klein poodle. They finally just abandoned the job.  They sue their customers too. Very well versed in this. Martha has been doing this type of work for 40 years and doesn't have a proper contract, on purpose. Don't hire any of these people. I wish we hadn't.

We did find another Inc contractor who trashed their attempt and built us a nice deck. Showed up when he said he would, proper contract and very respectful of our property. Always came with tools needed.
