Jennifer Lamplugh of Blue River Doodles Scammer that sells sick dogs South Jordan Utah

Buyer Beware of Blue River Doodles owned by Jennifer Lamplugh in South Jordan, Utah. I bought a 3 year old Male Toy Poodle that was said to have been in good breeding health. I flew to Utah on Feb 17th to get him, when we got home I noticed he walked weird, he slightly limped on his rear right leg, I assumed it was from flying in a rather small bag on our hour long plane ride but it never went away.

I made him a vet appt but our vet is booked 5-6 weeks and the soonest we could be seen was March 21st. Fast forward to March 15th, that morning I noticed his slight limp was a definite limp, holding his back leg and bearing no weight on it. By that night he was dragging his hind legs, pooping and peeing on himself, it was obvious he was in pain.

March 16th I called 18 vets to no avail(emergency vets were understaffed and at capacity so they weren't seeing anyone else). I finally was able to get into a vet an hour away, a place I've never been to before. When we get to the vet, Luigi is in very obvious pain so the vet didn't want to move him more than necessary. After assessment the vet said he's a product of IVDD. He was paralyzed. Surgery would been 10-15k and had a 20% success rate but he still wouldn't needed to be nursed (pee for him and diaper him) the remainder of his life.

The vet said she applied enough pressure to break his nail and he didnt even budge. I messaged the breeder after the exam letting her know what was going on. I sat with Luigi bawling, I had only owned him 27 days and in that short amount of time my family and I completely fell in love with this dog. After consulting with the vet more, we both agreed that him being PTS was in his best interest, he was in agonizing pain, crying anytime he was moved.

Now almost a month later, the breeder isn't taking accountability for selling me a dog with breeding rights that needed to be humanely PTS due to severe IVDD. In her contract it states a 1 year genetic health guarantee that she's not honoring. I'm out a few thousand, a broken heart and a dead dog.

Jennifer Lamplugh of Blue River Doodles is nothing but a scammer. Offering $800 as a settlement after I paid $1500 for him, $300 to fly and $422 in vet bills is just plain rude.
