This individual was hired and paid over 40k to secure funding for our STEM program for disadvantaged kids, made alot of promises and in the end delivered nothing.   It is disappointing that we did not get funding, but couple that with the fact that of all of the grants he says he submitted, we do not have a single copy of one grant submission.  We were conned.

The worse part is that we explained clearly that this money he was being paid was from the money budgeted for a STEM program for disadvantaged kids. When we made this agreement, he gave his word he would work until securing funding.  But the minute the 40k was paid to him he gave a 3 days notice and was gone.  I accept responsibility for falling for this con.  But if I can keep at least one person from falling for this con like we did, then this complaint is worth it.
