Jonnys Towing & Recovery, Inc. Charged $6500 by Inflating 3 hour job to 11 hours while illegally performing police duties sun prairie Illinois

Jonnys Towing & Recovery, Inc was called on a scene to perform simple recovery operation for commercial truck. They were supposed to call police right away to secure recovery site and start recovery operation. Instead they told that they need second truck to call to direct traffic. Than we were waiting for a second truck for over 2 hours.

Once second truck arrived  they used it to block ramp and directing trafic for detour. Recovery itself took about 2 hours. Once they blocked traffic police did arrive and asked them why police was not notified. That is is police duties to block highway.

Driver excuse was that he does not know why dispatcher did not notify police. Jonnys Towing & Recovery, Inc  was illigally performing police duties in order to strech bill from $1800 to $6500 while potentially endangering public safety.
