Josh Figueroa Custom Builds JF Asked for $6000 upfront for a $9000 job. Didn’t complete anything and failed to get city permits. He said he would give our money back but quickly blocked our number and disappeared with our $6000. Sunnyvale TX

Josh Figueroa agreed to do the plumbing work for our restaurant build out. He is only a Journeyman plumber, not a master. He said he would pull all permits through his master he has been working for. He wrote out and signed a contract saying he would complete all of our plumbing for $9000.

He asked for $6000 upfront to purchase supplies and pull city permits. He quickly began asking for more money saying his master told him he was an idiot for biding the job so low and refused to pull any permits because he didn’t think he would get paid by Josh. Josh “serched” for more Master plumbers to help pull permits but never stopped asking for more money. After a few weeks we finally told him we wanted our money back and he stopped answering calls and blocked us on all social media accounts. 

He claims he was working with Master Plumber Gerald Hulkem with Hulkem Enterprise LLC. I haven’t been able to find any information about him.
