This service misrepresents its capabilities and membership base to pressure consumers to sign the agreement, then forces unsolicited matches onto the user when their account is on hold. Further their matches are unsuitable in many areas and not as initially portrayed.

The ‘Its Just Lunch’ service preys on peoples insecurities and exploits their fears in these Covid times, potentially offering a safer and ‘verified’ method of matchmaking and appearing to be a better choice than the online services. I paid $3200 initially and $98 per month, while inactive it is $28 per month. They have a no refund policy for any reason. 

1. They tried to set me up with married women.

2. WOMEN BEWARE OF IJL - Most disturbingly they clearly failed to perform a thorough criminal background check on me and chose to match me with 5 women for evening meals, where we both were in a dark carpark after leaving the resteraunt. 

3. Their matching process is terrible with blind dates and matches I had absolutely nothing in common with. Most agreed that we were each far out of our respective 'local' areas.

4. They perform most of their interactions only over the phone and so you have no written evidence.
