In November 2021, JWS was contacted to fix the sliding glass door in the master bedroom. They inspected the door and concluded it just needed small adjustments on the rollers. Fast forward to September 2022 when the screens for the door were delivered and attempted to be installed.
They could not be installed due to severe sag in the middle of the door. After many phone calls, i.e. the building center who hired this company, my own contractor, and the maker of the sliding glass door, it has now been determined that JWS is ultimately Responsible to complete the repair.
On November 4, the owner of this company, Jerry Walker, told my contractor he will not fix the sliding glass door.
This small company needs to stand behind their workmanship and install this window correctly. If they are refusing to stand by their work, then they need to refund the installation cost of the sliding glass door.
